I'm trying hard to be lazy, but I've only watched one Oprah...so far. I have a few ERs, Boston Legal, 15 hours worth of Oprah and some Ellen's to go. I'm not very hopeful I will get it all in today. The Oprah I did watch was a good one, I thought. It is the one about Michael Moore's new film Sicko. I'm not a big fan of his, but this movie is one that I'll see.
Also, Oprah's new book club selection is Middlesex by Jeffrey Eugenides. Middlesex is a very interesting read and I recommend it. We read it in book club about a year ago.

I enjoyed Middlesex too. I skipped the Oprah with Michael Moore. I can't stand him. I don't know why, but he bugs me. Too bad I deleted it from Tivo if you thought it was good. Oprah has been on my nerves this season too, to tell you the truth. I only watch the celebrity ones these days. Why am I such a nerd who loves Hollywood gossip? I hate myself right now.
I usually can't stand him myself, he ranks up there with Rosie, but I was interested in the content of his new movie. Im still an Oprah fan, i'm a nerd there, but I haven't watch soooo many this season, maybe I have missed her being annoying.
I go in Oprah phases. I just noticed your menu for the week. I am making the tomato and spinach toss tonight!!! Oh my gosh, how crazy is that??? Great minds think alike.
heather, not to add to your burden, but you should check out the rachael ray show. i'm a big advocate of the rach.
i agree, middlesex was a very interesting book. i read it a few years ago. there was recently a 20/20 something or other special about transgender children. holy crap. makes me thankful for my struggles in life, cause i realize, temptation could be a whole lot uglier! and, i don't watch ops. i'm not anti, cause she's a chicago lady, but i'm not a follower of her show. i also don't think i'll watch the sicko, cause i like living in denial :) and holly - you know me, huge celebrity gossip fan. but since blogging, i'm not caring nearly as much. i only have so much time to waste, right? ;)
Hayley do you have my Middlesex? Maybe Mom does, I was just looking for it and can't find it. Hmmm.
I've never read Middlesex, but noow I want to if you all enjoyed it. Thanks for the tip! I like Oprah, too, but sometimes I feel like there is so much stuff on my dvr and not enough time in the day. I hope you enjoyed your lazy day ;)
I just saw Middlesex at Costco and nearly bought it - now I wish I had! And I'm not a Michael Moore OR Rosie fan either!!
