Happy 8th month BIRTHDAY Hope!!

We "ran into the mall real quick" today to check out a few of my favorite places. See, Hope turns 8 months today and that means picture time. She needed a new outfit. After the gym I started to drive the car toward the mall, "Where are we going???" the children groaned. "I want to go to the mall for a little while to check a couple stores." More groans and moans from the kids. I didn't let that stop me, I'm a mother of 4-a pro! First stop-Gymboree. I still love that store, especially for baby girls, and today they did not disappoint. They are having some sale-lots of shirts for $3.99 and pants/skirts for $6.99. I got the baby a few new things for right now, and then a few for next summer. I usually don't like to buy too far in advance, because there will always be more cute stuff to want next summer. BUT, with those kinds of prices I bought a few things for next year too. I really have been so much better with Hope than I was with Hannah. With Hannah, I was slightly out of control. I know that looking back through all the clothes. So, why does Hope need anything you might ask? Well she doesn't need much, but I can't take her picture in hand-me-downs. I love a good shopping day!

I have the same thoughts, I don't want to get Will's picture taken in hand-me-downs either! haha. Good exuse to buy just a few things for the new babies.

You were always so good at getting their monthly pics throughout their first year. They will look back on those and treasure them. She is adorable.

I think it is because I don't have a Gymboree and because I have boys, but I hardly ever find anything there! I bought a few things for Connor when he was newborn, but when I browse now, I don't find anything I just love. Am I weird???

nope, not weird, holly. for me, gymboree lost all it's draw once maya outgrew their baby girl lines. it's very rare that i even bother to go in there now, but i did recently and was drooling over baby girl things. they have the CUTEST baby girl things ever. jori, you and i were both out of control when our babies were babies! gymbo nuts! heather, you're an inspiration with your monthly photo taking - i did it with maya and totally missed the boat with mason. chris takes gorgeous pics of him and we get lots of enlargements, but we've never taken him in for pics, ever! such lame-o's!

Gymboree is nothing special for the boys. No question. Gap, Old Navy, Children's Place much better. I did buy Hannah a shirt today at Gymboree though, from a line I bought stuff for Hope, so she was excited.
