So, I had time to clean the downstairs carpet, with my Bissel Pro-Heat Turbo 2X. That has been my favorite (household cleaning) device I have bought for a long time. I have had it for two years and it's cleaned many a gross thing!! Many of you are probably lucky enough to NOT have carpet, but I still do, and I couldn't live without it. Well, I might be over exaggerating a bit, but I do love it.
Thanks to Kristi, we might have found a better time to read our scriptures, in the morning right after people wake up. We have been slacking since summer started about reading the scriptures together, and I was motivated to get back on the ball. Life is a series of getting "off the ball" and then getting back on again. As long as we are trying, right?
I need to go shower and get pretty. I'm looking pretty gross and nasty at the present moment. We will be heading to lunch here in a bit. Hope is asleep now, she needs one good nap a day at least! I hear rumblings of Cici's Pizza, but I hope I can persuade people to go a different route. I'm sure I will lose!! Grandma is visiting, so where ever she wants to go!! After that...who knows where we will end up!

after spending a month at your house in december, i fell in love with your vacuum & went home and bought my own newbie. remember? i still sweet talk it and vacuum way way way more often than i ever did before i got it. plus - he doesn't hurt my back. i love my vacuum now, too. thanks heath!
having a mama around is a great thing! have fun! i agree that life is just a series of starting up, slacking off, and starting up again. i always tell myself that as long as the effort is there, it's enough! :)
I love when my mom comes and stays, She's such a little scrubber. I can never make my house look as good as she can. Have fun at lunch!

It's not a vacuum, it's a carpet cleaner. But I do love it. I'll post the black bean salsa recipe.
