Now that's blog worthy!

Even my kids are rating if things are "blog worthy" now. It cracks me up. This though is seriously unbelievable...I called my parents tonight to see if they could go to the mall tonight. I know I'm such a pain. Those shorts of Hunter that I blogged about...well I have been one tracking, and I found a pair at my parent's mall, Woodfield in Schaumburg, IL (I think the only size ten in TX, CA and maybe even IL...I might be exaggerating a little bit, but you get the point) The people at Abercrombie are not so very helpful...they won't ship, you can't put things on hold, you can't even pay over the phone for something so they will hold it. "That's why they put things on-line...." That is what somebody at Woodfield actually told me...like I didn't already try there first?? Whatever :) So, I have the WANTED shorts (last pair, sitting at the store NOT on hold just waiting for somebody else to buy) So, my Mom's meeting wasn't going to be over until after the mall closed. That's all right don't worry about it I'm thinking. My Dad calls back and says he wants to go to the mall to pick up the shorts. Okay, I'm like...do you even know where the mall is? Have you even ever been to the mall by yourself, DAD? I'm not even joking her guys. I don't know, but my Dad must seriously like Hunter or I to go to the mall to buy some shorts!! That's when one of the kids said "now that's blog worthy!" Thanks Dad! You're the best!!
Speaking of one tracking, I have passed it down to my kids btw. Hayden, alllll day, has been asking to check Harry Potter costumes out online. I have. But not enough. So, I'm finishing my dinner, and Hayden disappears for a minute. He calls out, "Mom how to you spell HALLO-WING STUFF? I want to look for in on the computer." He wanted to do a little searching.

ok. that is a perfect example of how adorable both hayden and dad are. i love that one tracking passes down to our kids. i'm scared to ever have my own little ornery, hyper, anal kids. and dad, you know he'd only do that for a grandkid. i love that he calls you and says he wants to go get them. especially going into a store like abercrombie. i'll have to call him in the morning & tease him. in a good way. i love those guys!

The shorts will be in the mail today. Your dad is amazing. I was so happy he was able to do that because I knew I would never make it there with my meeting on time. That store is really not very helpful to shoppers. Glad I don't shop there.

That's so cute--what a cute Dad you have. I would fret over my dad going to the mall, too, but your Dad is one good Grandpa! Those are cute shorts, too. Man, Abercrombie need to work on their customer service!

Dad sent me an email that said, "I don't know why everybody is making such a fuss..." He's funny. He doesn't get why it was a big deal for him to drive over to Woodfield, find Abercrombie, buy the shorts???? He is a good boy.

i know... when i called him this morning he was like "its not a big deal, i would do anything for my daughters" which i've always known - but i guess i didn't realize he really means ANYTHING, including going to the mall, which is like his least favorite place on earth.
