I'm turning into my Mother. I got Hannah a swim suit back on March 31st, I know because I just found my receipt. Anyway, I have noticed that it's become a bit stretched out lately. She went to put in on today and it looked funny it was so stretched out. So, I made her take it off and I went back to Justice to return it. Call me crazy, but shouldn't swim suits last more than a couple of months???? I figure she didn't start swimming in it until May. Why does nothing last anymore? It's starting to drive me crazy. We are on our third dishwasher in this house!!! That's nuts. I say I'm turning into my Mom because she'll take anything back if it hasn't met expectations. A few years old...doesn't matter she'll take it back, but I'm starting to think she has the right idea.
I had to eat the last of the chocolate amaretto cookies ice cream sandwiches...I worked so hard this morning in Total Conditioning...I needed my strength. I enjoyed every mouthful of it too. My arms were so tired after that class I was really wondering if I would be able to hold Hope. Don't worry, I could, but Hunter had to hoist her into the car seat for me. He said "Mom are you okay to drive???" "I think so, I guess we will find out" :)
Hunter started football practice last Saturday, and the end of the lazy summer is in sight. Bummer. Just when I was really starting to embrace it. The kids start school on August 27th. But this football stuff is a killer. 4 practices a week! They really work these kids too. Hunter knows the kind of pain I am feeling today. I went to practice on Saturday and thought about how sore I'd be if I was doing what they were doing. Texas football, I'm learning, is a big deal.

hunter's adorable... glad you're taking back that swimsuit. i'm anti returns, due to being my mother's child ;) when i was in st. george, i went to exhange a shirt (that mom got me) at target. holly had to walk me through it. i think she thought i was retarded. but seriously - 4 practices a week for magoo? that's a lot!
actually I was glad to hear your comments on things not lasting because I'm still really annoyed with having to pay $550 to repair an air conditioner for a house that's only 4 years old. Seems to me that that isn't long enough -- but I don't know what to do about it.
rock on hunter, texas football is a man's sport. good for him. chris will be excited to hear about that. i love that ned takes anything and everything back, that rocks. i'm so lazy. if something makes it into my house, it's never making it back out.
I bought bread at Costco this weekend. Today it is moldy. I was talking to Mom on the phone when I discovered the mold and her instant response was "take it back." haha. I threw it away.
Keep your receipts!!! I'm laughing because my girls know me all too well. Yes, I do make returns if I'm not happy with the purchase. I shop where they are good about returns. Nordstroms is excellent. I purchased a bra there and told the sales clerk I was not sure I liked the fit. She told me to return it even in 6 months and I had worn and washed the bra. The size was great and I did not need to return it. Coldwater Creek lets you return everything and they will even pay the postage for the return even if you purchased it in the store. I know you are all too young for their styles but remember that in another 30 years.
Hunter looks so cute in that picture. There is nothing like Texas football for the boys. I had to see it to believe it.
texas football is a religion. you're just at the beginning. haha. gosh i wish i had your dedication to work out- until i'm like you, i'll just live through you. haha
Wow Texas football must be serious. I think Texas is a good state for your fam. You guys are all hardcore. Amen to things not lasting I am SO annoyed about my crockpot. I take things back but people always tell me to stick it. Better take Ned's advice and hang on to receipts.
Oh the good days (not old) of high school football! I agree with Julia, it is a religion.
Don't you love that feeling of being completly jell-oed out after an amazing work out! I love it and aim for that every time! It's a high.. haha
Good for you for taking it back! heck yeah, it should last longer than a few months. Nothing is made like it used to be! My mom is the same way...unfortunately she did not pass that onto me. Go Hunter and Texas Football! Woohoo!
And THANK YOU for the book--we love it. What a cute book and a cute message. Thanks again, Heather. You made my kids day!
