Talk about compulsive Hayley (Hayley thinks she has ocd)...I have been on a home improvement kick around here. I have decided Lowe's is a much better place than Home Depot. I walked into Lowe's today, and two people ask if they could help me right away. How's that for customer service? The third person that asked I said sure...help me find this light. I got a new chandelier for over my kitchen table. I'll finally be rid of that ugly piece the builder put up. I figured it was meant to be, it was marked $198 on the display, but when I found the box it was clearanced for $49. You've got to love a good deal. I cleaned out both linen closets and I have a love seat couch full of old towels. I'm not exactly sure what to do with them. I can't possibly use them all for rags, but I feel so wasteful throwing them away. I think I'll pick out the good ones, and maybe donate the rest. Just what the poor of Houston need, right, a ratty towel? It's so nice to have space and room to breathe, even if it's in a linen closet. I found a bunch of junk that got pitched. I even got up in the attic today, hence the picture. Scott got this "head flashlight" when he went to scout camp, and you better believe I mocked him...but after I dropped the MAG light from the attic...I strapped that thing on and I was in LOVE. I made Hunter model for you :). A very handy (but funny looking) little thing.

hopey's nine months! wow. seems like yesterday she was the newborn of the family & she was the one snake tonguing me & getting the death grip. man i miss your kiddies! i love that picture of hunter. i've seen scott wear that light - its great! and i'm glad you found a good deal for your light!!!
I love it when things are marked down! Just gives me a little thrill. Hope is so cute and makes me even more baby hungry. You post has inspired me. I think I will clean out some closets today.
I have a flashlight just like that (and I don't even camp:) and I use it all the time for reading in bed. Its great...you just aim the light right at your book and you don't have to mess with the clip on kind or have a lamp on. Happy Birthday Hope. Time sure flies.
I have one of those headlights and I use it for making jewelry but I like the idea of a reading lamp. Hope is 9 months old and adorable. What does the chandelier look like. I need to make a trip to Houston to see all the home improvements. I like Lowes better, too.
Gotta love Lowe's and those surprise markdowns! Take a pic of the chandalier once it's in place - we want to see. And hapyp 9 mo. BD, Hope!
