Back in the saddle again...

I'm singing that song in my mind...okay so I'm finally feeling like a human again. It's been a long weekend. I felt the best I felt for several days that very first afternoon on Tami flu. It might not be the miracle drug I initially thought it was. Or, I was a lot sicker than I thought and the Tami-flu lessened the blow, whatever. Life sucked for a few days. But, we are better now. Still not 100%, but MUCH better. I even made it to the gym today. You know I'm sick if I 'm not going to the gym :)

Scott came home on Friday night. We were all so excited to see him! I was supposed to be out to dinner "with the girls", but had to cancel because I was sick. (rescheduled for this Friday!) The kids screamed so loud when he drove up, that the neighbor emailed me later to tell me she started to cry when she heard all the commotion, she knew what had just happened. Some friends had a nice Open House for us on Saturday night for church friends. It kind of went by in a blur, and I forgot to take pictures! Just forgot. Being sick does that. I was afraid nobody would show up, so it was nice to see we had a few friends!! haha. Wouldn't that be terrible :)!!

On Sunday, after the talks and stuff in Sacrament Meeting, the counselor got up and announced we were moving and another family. Then proceeded to call me up to the stand to bear my testimony. Usually, that would be a big no no! BUT, I had taken some Vicks-NyQuil the night before (and was still feeling it) so I was as calm as could be. My only complaint was that after I sat down, I thought of all kinds of things I wanted to say, but hey, it was over before I could even get nervous.

All is going well with the sell of our house. We had the inspection done and nothing major was found. Always a relief!! Still waiting to get final bank approval on our house in WA. It's in pre-forclosure...so that could happen at any time, literally. Waiting is so fun...

I am glad you are feeling better. That is great your home inspection went well. That is always a stressful thing. I hate it when there is a long list of ticky tack stuff to fix.

Ok, I know I've been out of the loop lately so where in WA are you moving? When and are you excited?

Glad to hear you are feeling better!

I'm sorry you were sick. What a memory though, testimony on Nyquil. They should've snatched that recommend right then and there!
I can't believe you are moving!!

Crazy, I left a comment yesterday and this morning I don't see it. Glad Scott made it home and you had such a fun weekend. Also glad to find a post by you. Soon you will not only be back in the saddle but all "home on the range."
