So, Hunter had fun yesterday in his limo ride. All 23 5th graders rode over to Cici's for lunch...@ 10:45! Just what I want for brunch. He said it had purple leather interior with neon purple cup holders, and all kinds of neon signage. He even managed to scarf down a piece of pizza. I was truly shocked and amazed that he lasted the day...where there is a will there is a way, right? Pretty fun though.
Hope "spit up" all over my Old Navy shorts this morning. That's what I'm calling it anyway...spitting up! But anyway, has everybody been shopping the "Old Navy" for Bermuda shorts this summer. They have some cute ones. I have stocked up, because you never know if long short will be "in" next summer. "I love it I love it I love it" (still have SNL on the brain...Molly Shannon).
I'm off to the library today, after the gym for a quick workout. My glutes are feeling it this morning. I did manage a little ab workout yesterday, but no push ups. I'll have to make up for that today. Some books my kids are loving right now are: Scooby-Doo readers (a must for Hayden-I read a couple a day to him...at least he has moved on from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle books uhhhh those were torture), Nancy Drew Notebooks (these are pretty easy for Hannah and she can whip one out in a sitting, but she LOVES to read them), Left Behind series and the Redwall series (Hunter is in the middle of both of these series), you have got to read the Skippyjon Jones books to your kids-they are funny-Hayley introduced us to these books in December when she was here.
Well, I'm off for now.

Love the book recommendations. Cute pictures of the kids too! I remember when the boys were saving their money for a limo with a hot tub in first grade and then later Chase came and whispered to me, "Mom, what's a limo?"
Sounds like a fancy limo -- all that neon purple.
I'm so glad your house is holding out health wise. C'mon, you can do it! No more puking! The pictures are great.
Heather left a comment over on my blog so it's time for me to get in on the fun over here, too! Sorry Jones girls, you can't get rid of me! It's vicarious living since I was deprived of a sister! Anyway, Heather, I am in Austin! Are you the Houston sister? I haven't been to Houston yet (we've been here 2 1/2 years but never get to much of anywhere!). We LOVE Austin. It's the best. Holly and I were roommates for 1 semester at BYU. I wasn't even going to school. I was just killing time and trying to poison everyone with my cooking! :) Anyway, I LOVE Holly and you Jones girls are just hilarious. I'm jealous of the trip to Cici's. I hate their pizza, but I just consider it an all you can eat brownie buffet. Their brownies are the best! :)
yay. natalie and heather are besties too now. she should become an honorable jones sister.
Oh my gosh!! I love Austin. Our neighbors moved there about a year a half ago and we have been to see them a few times. I love it there too. Where do you live in Austin? I'm trying to remember the name of the main street they live off of...hmmmm I might need to consult my husband. So many fun things to do there. The last time we were there the Reinkes took us to the Bat Festival. Oh the smell of it!
we live in sw austin. the community is circle c ranch. and can i please be an honorary jones sister? i have my mama, which is nothing to sneeze at (she's the best) but i'm forever bitter that i have no sisters.
