Happy Memorial Day to you!

Hannah woke up this morning and said "it feels like a Saturday". Yes, it does, but so did last Friday for that matter. I think we are in for a bunch of "Saturday"s until summer starts to feel normal. Speaking of Hannah, she did/said something that was funny (I'm not supposed to say) and after "it" happened she said "you aren't going to put that on blog are you?" That's how she said it and I thought it was funny...she is figuring me out!

I was at the gym this morning and they had CNN (i think) on one of the big TVs. On the screen they were flashing some of our honored dead..remembering them on Memorial Day. So, I included a link for Memorial Day. It has some interesting things on there. A lot of times, for me, Memorial Day has meant pool party in the neighborhood, or picnic over at some friends. Maybe I'm just getting old, but I couldn't help feeling a little humbled as those pictures were flashing up. One kid was from Clinton, UT...probably a good old Mormon boy. Another man was Scott's age. He was probably a husband and father. I just wanted to pause for a minute and say how thankful I am for their sacrifice.
