You Staying Young!

Can I just say I love Dr. Oz. Love him. I bought that book You the Owner's Manuel when it first came out and pretty much read it cover to cover. Scott and I (I encouraged Scott to watch with me and he actually listened ;)just finished the Dr. Oz specials on Oprah. I was GOING to wait and let somebody get the new Dr. Oz book for my Christmas, but I don't think I'm going to wait. I'm going to even start taking supplements. Usually, I take vitamins when I'm pregnant, and then stop them, but I'm going to start back up. Are you getting enough Vitamin A,B,C, D3, E and calcium? Go check out all the Dr. Oz stuff on Oprah.com, I know, those of you that don't like Oprah, it might be painful. BUT, there is really some good stuff out there. New goal, serving fish up to the family 2x's per week. Speaking of fish, have you tried that tortilla crusted tilapia at Costco? That is very good. I really did LOVE it. And the marinated WILD salmon steaks at Costco are great too. I'm even going to get the stuff to make that green drink. I'll let you know how it tastes. How terrible is cod liver oil? I don't know if I'm that crazy.

I took baby Soap to the doctor, for her "well baby" check. It turns out, she isn't so well after all. Double ear infection, darn it. Have I told you how I HATE daily light savings? I hate the spring worse than the fall, but it messes me up. Well, not me, and if it was just me, it wouldn't be a problem. But it messed up Hope. Now that I think of it, maybe I shouldn't blame day light savings on Hope's "tiredness"...maybe she was just plain sick. Duh.

Here are here stats:

Ht. 29 1/2 inches (50-75%)

WT 20# 11.3 oz (25-50%)

Head 46 1/2 inches (75-90%) She gets the big head from me, just for the record, my head is bigger than Scott's. Pinhead.

My kids have big heads too. I've heard that big heads means smart kids. It was on the news. So it's gotta be true right?

Gosh I would love if the big head/smart thing were true - I may have geniuses! I do take the vitamins, cause you know I don't eat well enough. So I down the multi and fish oil capsule at least, and try to take that b6 for the women's mood. Had an OB that recommended. Anything for this Momma's mood:) I'm sorry Hope is sick. Feel better Hope!

Double ear infection!!! Poor Hope. That is no fun at all.

I love Dr. Oz, but don't regularly watch him. Now I want to get my booty over to Oprah and check out his info!

Always good to get a reminder on what we should be doing to keep healthy. I have been taking fish oil capsules for a couple of years and it shows on my blood work every year. Doctor said keep that up!!!!

hey I take a green drink powder every morning, its called KyoGreen. I just mix it with a little water and my Emergen-C packet, and I'm good to go! Having it in powder form makes it really easy to take every day. The kids call it my swamp juice and now they love drinking it too! And even better, I dont know when we were sick last, so it's definitely doing something for us!

pinhead:)

That green drink is intriguing me a bit, I must admit. Do you take one big multi vitamin or a bunch or seperate pills? you are such a healthy girl:)

Sorry about hopey's ears. NOTHING is worse than a kid with ear infections. NOTHING.

I've just started on the whole vitamin thing. I take a multi and then I take extra c and e at this point. There are more I'll add, but for now that's it.
