One of THOSE people

I have turned into one of those people that sings along with her ipod while exercising. It is great fun. I sat my butt down on a spinning bike yesterday and did my own thing, and had such a good time. A few times I embarrassed myself with singing that I had to turn my head to the window. Now, let me clarify, no voice is coming out, but the lips are moving, honey. This morning I went out for a long slow run. It was so fun. I had Fergie and JT cranked up. I was so relaxed (running slow does that) and having such a great time, I about ran into my friend Jennifer. Literally. Well, I wasn't as bad as her though :). We were running in opposite directions, and I saw her, and waved. I thought she saw me behind her big shades, because she moved her arm. (later I learned she must have been doing a little dance move, she was listening to JT too haha) Finally, I was almost right on top of her, and started talking. She did a startled "OH". She was running with her eyes closed! We started laughing because, how safe are we??? NOT. Talk about being in your own little world. I thought I was bad before running with my ipod, just off in la la land. But now I'm in la la land AND can't hear a darn thing!

That's awesome you sing to your iPod--I love when you're running, singing & dancing all at the same time! How can you not sing to JT, is what I want to know? Good times.

glad you only ran into jennifer & not some pervert! enjoy the JT - especially if he gives you motivation to get going... not that you need the motivation, but you know

Sounds like fun to me. I always have done sing along with the car radio.

I must qualify here - I was running with my eyes at "half mast" so I would peek at the ground several feet ahead of me, then meditate for a few more steps. THAT is how slow I run! Can you even call that running? I choose to since I go for an hour or more. Such fun, those ipods, and since they are four our ears only, we can sometimes dowload the real versions instead of the cleaned up ones. Although, why I feel the need to be bad in that way escapes me!

I'm joining the gym this week. Will is old enough for the day care, so I will be singing along to my podder in no time!!!

I so want to run/sing/dance with my ipod-- but my daughter goes with me and likes to talk while we run. What's with these kids today, and their liking togetherness and whatnot?

So glad you stopped by my blog-- you know, I've stalked you before, and coveted your amazing hair, and that you have the most gorgeous hospital/childbirth photo I've ever seen-- and I still liked you in spite of that. ;)

Love the singing to the ipod -- I have done the same thing when running in the past. I'm sure it has been a thrill for passers-by!
