What we were doing this weekend

Last Saturday, Hannah participated in a cheer camp put on at the high school by the high school cheer leaders. I'm sure it's a money maker for them, because there were like 150 little girls that showed up. I couldn't believe all the high school cheer leaders that were there, freshmen, sophomore, JV, varsity, maybe more who knows. Hannah had a great time and has been cheering all week. Typically, I'm not a huge cheer leading fan, but she wanted to go, and I said what the heck. So, last Saturday they learned a bunch of cheers for the upcoming Friday night football game. Yup, so Friday night during the 3rd quarter Hannah was down cheering with the group. It was darn cute, but I couldn't get any good pictures, so you'll just have to take my word for it.

Hayden had a soccer game yesterday morning (8:30 no less) and he was darn cute. It was his "best game ever" kind of a day. He actually got down and close to the goal. I'm talking he shot to score a couple of times. Impressive :) We were laughing hard because he was running so hard. Hayden has always pumped his arms really hard when he runs...really hard. And he was doing it all the time yesterday, with his tongue out. His little friend from pre-school was on the other team, so maybe he was extra motivated. Go Hayden!

Yesterday was Hunter's "homecoming" football game. Remember, football in Texas is a big deal. We played the other Tomball team. It was the Mayor's cup and our homecoming game. We kicked some serious butt. The final score was 36-0. It would have been much higher but the coach was told NO scoring second half, or else he would be suspended next game. It was a fun game though. They got to play at the high school stadium. The same stadium we had been at the night before watching Hannah cheer at. Texans can sure pack a football stadium. Actually, you gotta kinda love it, even for a girl like me, that doesn't really care a whole lot about football. It's fun watching your kid play. The Moms escorted their boys out onto the field. By escorting I mean we ran out to the 50 yard line with them. Hunter sprinted and I ran with him, yelling slow down the entire time. haha.

And then there was Hopey. She went along for the ride for most of it. We did get a babysitter Friday night so she could be home in bed on time. She woke up right on time this morning and stayed in our bed for about 45 minutes just being cute. I like that girlie. I do realize her eyes are closed, but this was the best picture I took of her, doing her "thing". Grabbing her ear and sucking her thumb. I love that too.
