Happy Birthday Hope. She got a glow worm, which she loves, and a cute new Fisher Price Amazing Animal Farm. I could only find a picture of the train, but you'll get the idea. She loves it anyway.

By the end of the day, you'd say "Happy Birthday Hope" and she would laugh and clap her hands! She had a good day.
This is the next night...by then she had pink eye and a throat infection. Poor girl.
We all have the birthday cone hats on, I do too, but MY DAD cut off my head :)
What a fun filled weekend. My parents came on Friday night and left Sunday evening. We had lots of birthday celebrations. We even ate at Buca di Beppos for dinner. If you haven't eaten there yet, and you LOVE Italian food, you need to try it out ASAP. I love it and they have the best chocolate cake, garlic bread, salad, and all kinds of yummy pastas.
Saturday morning at the primary activity, my Dad said, "I've had to wipe goop out of Hope's eye several times." Uh oh. By the end of the activity I was calling the doctor. She ended up with bacterial conjunctivitis and a throat infection. That girl made it one year without antibiotics. That's a first for my kids. She is looking good now, but she had a rough couple of days.
I had a great birthday, Scott and the kids got me a new Nano ipod in green. A ring and an ipod! Go Scottie! Last year, he bought me a big video ipod, but we took it back, I was sick of sharing Scott's ipod by this year....so it's not going back. :) I loved having my parents here, and we all had the greatest weekend. Thanks everybody, it was the best!

i love that dad's got an eye out on hopey's goop. i'm so sad that she got all sick. poor thing. hopefully she's feeling better quick! i'm glad you had a great day, too! you deserve it heather feather! i love you & can't wait to see you on Friday!
I want a nano too! I don't even have an ipod(gasp!) Ryan has one but I am a loser I guess. I love Buca Di Beppo too! It is SO yummy. I have never tried the cake. I will have to give it a whirl next time. Sorry Hopey was sick, poor baby that train is very cute! Glad you had a fun weekend.

Hope is feeling better. Jori, don't feel bad I didn't have an ipod until my birthday. granted I had one last year,b ut returned it. I do love the new nano though. That cake is to die for:) Jane, I've taken a picture of my ring, on my hand, but again the camera is limiting me! It's all fuzzy, too close up. But I'll post a fuzzy picture anyway. :)

sounds like such a party! you guys know how to rock and roll. i have the "old" nano in green, but i'm wanting one of the new ones, too. dinner at buca is always a treat, especially if you go with a big group. last time we went we sat at the pope's table and it was a blast! anyway, sounds like a fantastic weekend for sure!
Poor Hope--that straight up stinks, but so glad she is feeling better! It sounds like you had a great weekend with your family and HOORAY for the cute green ipod! I'm glad you had a great birthday, Heather :)
