Hunter had to write a poem for school this weekend...a Bio-poem as he called it. He wrote it this morning and I said..."you wrote this?" I liked the "gentle with his siblings part :) haha Gentle with Hope, for sure!!
We went for a walk tonight: Mom pushing Hope, Dad walking the dog, Hayden on scooter, Hunter on scooter, Hannah on bike. We were walking to a paved path that goes under a road...so you get a hill. The very same hill I ran up and down...eight times yesterday. But the kids had fun going up and down on wheels. But on our way out there we were walking and this old couple stopped their car, the man rolled down his window and said, "You have such a beautiful family. Do you know how lucky you are???" I just smiled (big) and said thanks, we know we are lucky. And I really do. I'm loving my little family tonight. I even had a little extra patience for the ride home, when everybody was tired. I ended up hooking Hayden's scooter to the stroller, and Hunter and Hannah were fighting...Hannah was following Hunter. Well, that is kind of the point right? haha Ice cream when we got home, all is well.

What a sweet kid. You are doing everything right and it shows. Love it!
I'm with you. Hunter wrote that? I think it describes him perfectly. He did leave out he likes to tease his Grandma and Grandpa and he has us believing some pretty weird stuff.
Glad you had a nice night. You do have a beautiful family.
You ARE lucky. Gorgeous, fun, sweet family. AND, one undiscovered poet. I love his "positive" take on himself. It's very cute. He's a sweet big brother.
He's sweet. Isn't it interesting how he is so worried about the war? I remember being about his age worrying about going to war with Libya. Crazy, I know.
Hunter is a poet. Smart kid you got there. And I do agree, beautiful family. You're totally blessed. It's awesome when others recognize your blessings. Smile big with pride for sure!
oh goodness. that lil' poem brought tears to my eyes. hunter is definitely all of those things. i adore him. he's such a good kid - i love who he is. and i say that he can be gentle with all of his siblings. when he wants to be, just probably mostly with hopey ;) give him a kiss for me!
Hey Hunter ... I need something to put in baby WIlliams book (from grandpa), how about you write a bio-poem about me and how I feel about my grand kids, I bet it would be a classic.
Your poem is very special and describes what I want you to be. The good news is that's who you are so I am a happy camper.
I love you.
Love Hunters Bio-poem. He is a smart kid! I love going on family walks too. Good for you running up a hill 8 times. I don't even think I could walk up a hill 8 times.
awww, you guys are the cutest ever, for sure. and i love hunter's poem. that is so cool. what's the deal with kids and war? this stuff hardly crosses my mind, but for kids, it's so troubling.
You really do have a sweet family! I love Hunter's poem. He is such a sweet boy! And dude, way to run up and down a hill 8 times--I wish I could pull that kind of motivation off :)
