Cause for celebration

I'm growing my hair out a little bit, and this morning I tried to put it up...and it went back into a ponytail. Yay!! I know, I know, you may not think it is that exciting, but for workouts, it's heaven.

And in other random news...I took down Christmas, and my house looked so bare! I didn't like it. While my local Target hasn't gone to 90% off on Christmas and 50%+ on toys, they have had some killer deals on stuff that I really did want/need. Well, need might be stretching it, but definitely wanted. You know the cluttery knick knacky stuff. I had gotten rid of a lot of stuff with the move, you know styles change and all. Plus, I got maryjane shoes for Hope...$1.98! Her's were a little tight on Sunday, so I got a pair for now, and a pair to grow into.

Yesterday, after playgroup, Hope and I hit some stores. Apparently, Scott came home for lunch. We weren't there, but shortly after arriving home, I got a call...from Scott. He said, "Oh you are home, let me guess where you have been...Target, Pier One, Lowes..." I was quietly thinking, Damn that man is good! How did you know?? He laughed and said he was looking at the bank statement online. When we were not home (way passed Hope's nap time :), he knew we were out having a little fun.

Tell him one of your primary goals for the new year is to make sure you are doing your part to help out this utterly dismal economy we are currently in and investing in your home which I've heard from all the mortagage brokers (who are praying they don't go out of business) is what we all need to do!

That is too funny! Ron did that to me once...he couldn't find me so he just logged onto online banking and followed me throughout Houston. I agree with Shauna! ;-)

Glad you found some bargains. Just what did you find for the house? Hope will strut her stuff in those new shoes. Is she wearing them now? All she needs now is some "make" from Hayley.

That is hilarious Scott named off where you had gone! And hooray for sweet deals at Target!! I really need to keep my eye out for those
%50 off toys. And I STILL have my Christmas up. I am dreading dealing with it--how am lame I?

When my hair was shorter and I worked out at home, I had to put it in pigtails because I really hate the feeling of hair on my neck when I sweat. So would not try that at that gym. I can't wait for the Target deals. That's how I finance our great Christmases and birthdays.
