Just so you know, all children returned home at the proper time and place yesterday. The bus was only a couple of minutes late. The bus barn lady was very apologetic (good thing too), "This will never happen again Mrs. Gray".
I had enough time to quick feed Hope and make it to the gym by 8:30. See, there was this core class I wanted to try. So I get there (at 8:35) and nobody is in either aerobics room. I think oh crap no class, and I look at the schedule. Dummy got it wrong, it was at 9:00!! I had a 1/2 to do cardio, but that made it tight to make it home for the primary presidency meeting. It was at my house this time. Let's just say my house took a heavy hit. One little kid made me especially nervous with all the freedom his mom allowed him. I'm not shy, and I'm not afraid to tell somebody there kid needs to keep the PBJ and banana in the kitchen, the 1 1/2 year old needs to color at the table (supervised please) and please don't climb up and stand on my kitchen table!! Three hours can be a looooong meeting.
It is now 3:20 and Hope has still not taken a nap. I think one little critter walked in on Hope napping and messed that all up. I've tried a couple of times, but no luck. I still don't think she feels well, nothing a little Dimmetapp won't cure.
That "would be" tropical storm that was brewing, moved on up the coast of Texas. No flooding here. In fact, no rain here AT ALL. Go figure.

Good for you to speak up and share your piece of mind, especially in your own house! I think I'd be a little frustrated, especially with Hope's nap, and I don't even have kids! 3 hours for a meeting?! Remind me to enjoy my calling of piano playing in the RS! haha.
good grief? Three hour meeting...with CHILDRED...at YOUR HOUSE? That's insane. Even the most well-behaved kids would start going nuts by then. I'm glad you're ballsey enough to speak up. I'm SOOO not. I'd just be cursing them after they left:)
Glad your marathon meeting is over! Kudos for getting to the gym that early. The hardest seems to be getting the little ones fed. Then if you don't have that morning diaper before you leave you risk having it at the gym during your workout! That stinks (I made a pun!)
And you're sure no one from the meeting reads this?
Yikes, that is a killer meeting! Good for you telling people what you think. I hate it when people let their kids run wild at my house.
Oh my lanta--I'm glad you're not afraid to say something to those Moms. Ok, and 3 hours is a little too long...bah!
3 hour church meetings are WAY TOO LONG. Unless we are talking Sunday block, of course.
I have to say that our Primary presidency meetings go long too -- we just have too much fun together. That's why we have them at 8:30 at night - -so there are no kids to worry about. We drink Diet Coke and eat candy and laugh and hang out while we do Primary business too. Long, but fun.
I don't miss presidency meetings not one little bit!!!!!!!!
