This morning we (Hannah, Hayden, Hope and the 3 other kids at our bus stop + their 2 Moms) were out at the bus stop, doing what you do at the bus stop...waiting for the bus. The bus was crazy this year, I won't bore you with the details, but let's just say it wasn't the bus barn's greatest year (they forgot to include kindergartners on our bus route...ooops!). Anyway, they fixed all the funkiness, or so I thought. We're standing and waiting and waiting...and waiting. Finally, after about 30 minutes, I say the bus isn't coming (we just thought it was back to being late-that's about how late it was a week ago) and everybody loads up in my suburban. I take the kids to school with like 2 minutes to spare before the tardy bell, and call the bus barn. Well, they re-worked the routes all right, and forgot our whole street in the re-working process. Hello!! Problem solved, but I wonder how late they are going to be this afternoon.

Holy Moly--you would think they could get their stuff together and not forget an entire street! I hope they remember them tomorrow morning!
Whenever I get frustrated with them, and that is regularly, I have to stop and be grateful for the big yellow bus which takes my kids to and from school each day. But I do say - this is not brain surgery people!!!!
That's a little scary, isn't it? Hopefully they will remember ALL the kids now!
I agree with you. The buses have been crazy! We have a bus driver who thinks she needs to stop at each and every childs home, thus making it 40 minutes delivery time less than a quarter of a mile from school!!! Maybe she didn't get the notice that there are scheduled pick up and drop off locations!
Bus Barn...I thought that was just a Crystal Lake term. I guess anything is better than Bus Parking lot! Hope that coming went better than going!
Holy! That is totally unacceptable! I hope you yelled at 'em good! Its not like they're picking up dirty laundry... these are your kids we're talking about!
I hope they made it home from school today! It would make for an interesting blog tomorrow though if they got lost in the black hole of the tomball bus route.
Amy commented!!! The Crystal Lake reference tipped me off, she's my good friend and former neighbor in Crystal Lake. I've never heard the phrase bus barn, interesting.....Can't believe they are having such a hard time getting their act together!
that BUGS. It's not okay to have kids standinga around for any period of time. It's just not safe. Hope they pulled their heads out over at the bus barn.
That is SO frustrating. I hate flakes especially when kids are involved.
