Forget toys, Hope likes laundry, the basket, and our suitcases!This week is spring break, probably the latest spring break in the country, but...it's a good time for us. Since the move, the kids will basically have an extra month of school. Texas schools get out mid May, WA schools get out mid June! Yesterday, was a nice day. Lazy morning, trip to the gym, then...shopping a new mall. For some crazy reason, all kids (except maybe Hope) like to go to the mall. Especially, if we are just roaming around. You know, going into all stores: Claire's, Sharper Image, Dick's Sporting Goods, See's Candy, Rocky Mountain Candy Apple and the Lego Store. You know, the fun stuff. The good thing is, I'm checking out all my favs too, mixed in.
Oh yeah, yesterday, I took a wrong turn. It was quickly corrected, but for a minute we were on the wrong road. Hunter knew I was stressed, he says "I'll say a prayer." The next thing I know he says, "there is the Temple, Mom!" Sure enough, there it was, beautiful. 
Today?? I'm going to go for a run in just a minute. Then we will hit the road, see what's calling to us today. Shoot, it's not even 9 o'clock yet, and we have gotten this townhouse picked up already. The kids do want to hike up Beacon Rock again, and they want to go to the ocean. I'm not sure if I'm up for that alone. It's about a 2 hour drive...hmmm if only Lori or Jennifer were here. I know they'd be up for a road trip!!
I did get a letter back from Vancouver Radiology the other day. My test results are normal. It doesn't say in the letter why the lymph node showed up in the first place, only that the test came back normal. Thank heavens!!

PTL for great test results! And I love that your lost prayer led you to the temple. It is really beautiful. I'm sorry that we can't go on a road trip either. I would be UP for that. This is the first spring break we haven't spent at least a little time together in years! I sure miss you. But I've seen your house, so now I'm coming! I just have to find the time and the frequent flyer miles:)

Good news from the doctor. I love the way Hunter prays when there is a problem. He is so sincere and knows that is the answer to the problem. Cute picture of Hope in the laundry basket. She makes me laugh.
if you have the kiddos off for Spring Break you should hit O.M.S.I (said OMZee there in Oregon). It's the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry. We walked around it and had a pretty great time. http://www.omsi.edu/
Always the beach is a great thing (Seaside has fun stuff for kiddos) Lincoln City is my fav beach though. Quaint lots of good shops, etc.

The nice thing about Hunter is that he's for real. I need to get him praying for me a little more...I think if he prayed for lemonade from the faucet, he'd get it. Maybe you should get him to pray for furniture, who knows, it might work.

Enjoy spring break. My sister is up in Seattle and I don't think they have it for 2 more weeks - so you aren't the last. Close though.
I got good results back from mine yesterday too. Are we old or what, talking about test results like that? Ha. Hope looks so grown-up all the sudden. Pretty temple!
