Snow day"s"

These pictures are all from the other day, when we didn't get too much snow, but it turned really cold and the roads were a little slick.

I found this kid some boots so he didn't have to play in his Keens.

Monday=no school
Tuesday=school
Wednesday=no school
Thursday=no school
Friday= it's already been decided...no school
My goodness, if it is snowy AT ALL there is no school. Today, it really did snow. We got 3 inches (or so) today, but it was kind of warm (36ish). So, the kids played outside all day. Literally. It was kind of nice :) Everybody except Hope that is. Well...and Hayley and I, but we did play, I even shoveled the driveway. Sledding down these hills was a huge hit. Hunter and his friends were having so much fun, they even popped the inner tube. Hayley and I keep asking each other "What are we going to do with these kids all day tomorrow too?" I guess if they keep playing outside, nothing!

Oh the wonders of a winter wonderland. Not so good in Chicago because it is causing flights to cancel, mine included.

That's how Nashville was - -if there was even the prediction of snow, there was NO school. Made for some extended holidays for sure.

But it looks like everyone is having fun!

Looks like fun!!! I'm sure you are finding fun things to do today. Chuck E Cheese anyone? Just kidding. Although I do like that business.

NW Winters! Because it never snows there they're ill-equipped to take care of it. I was always amazed at cars just stranded on the side of the road. Be careful on that freezing rain. That stuff freaks me out worse than snow. BLEH
