Ahhh, now that's better

Yesterday was a busy day. It started right at 6 am getting showered and then downstairs by 6:30 to take the trash out. The recycling people are here at like 6:35. They have caught me in my PJ"S the last two weeks . Normally, I'd put it out the night before, but I've have so much stuff I don't want any little critters getting into it and making a huge mess. (and BTW, Scott hasn't been here ONE Wednesday since we moved in...can that be true? I think so!) But anyway...it was pretty much non-stop all day. I finally went to get my WA license and license plates. I got the license but made a little discovery, neither car is in my name!! That's not good, what's up with that I asked Scott ASAP. Oh, well, that just means he has to get his booty over there and do it. Yesterday, was Activity Days. We went to the Camas Fire Department. I must admit one of the firefighters/paramedics was very cute. Sorry Scott, but he was :)

So, that's not all, but I won't bore you with anymore. The POINT here is what I did after the day. I took a bath in my new jacuzzi tub! I ordered some sesame oil, geranium and lavender essential oils to make myself this little oil/lotion. So, perfect recipe for a lovely evening after kids go to bed and husband is out of town= 2 cups Epsom salt, 4 drops lavender essential oil and one big bath tub of water. Soak...for a long time, until you start to prune. Then slather on the geranium/lavender infused sesame oil. Then wrap yourself in a big terry clothe robe and socks and go watch some American Idol. It was heaven. My book is calling to me now in fact. Today, not so busy :)

I've made bath salt but not the oil, that sounds lovely.
