Before I left for Utah I was on a mad search for a Nintendo Wii. (Do you know about the Wii? If not...go check out this link) They are very hard to find. Stores get like one or two in a shipment every OTHER week. Oh my gosh. I got caught up in the frenzy. I was calling Target and Game Stop every few days for 2 weeks. No luck. I was beginning to wonder if I'd find one for Hunter's birthday. He said he wanted one instead of a party. But then...one day we were driving by a Game Stop...with out Hunter. Hannah said "Mom go check they might have a Wii." So I did and THEY did. They had just gotten two in and had one left. They sell like hotcakes. I was so excited...I started acting like a crazy person. I find it funny because "I" don't want a Wii...and it's not like they are cheap. But anyway, I found one and I was so excited, but I couldn't share because Hunter reads this blog. When the kids and Scott got home last night, I had it all wrapped up and ready for him. They have played ping pong, golf, skeet (not sure if that's how you spell it) shooting, baseball, boxing, tennis, bowling, laser hockey, cow racing...what else...can't remember anymore, but you get the point. Fun stuff. Hunter said this morning, "Mom do you like how Hayden and I are building a brotherly bond together?"

Love that brotherly bond! How cute is he? And what a fun, nice mom you are!!
hunter kills me. he's so cute. i'm glad he's sharing with his brother! that picture of them is adorable!
Hunter is a hoot! I love the brotherly bond line. Ryan isn't a huge gamer, but for some reason we have an xbox, game cube, playstation, and he is dying for a Wii. He tries to tell me how educational it is for Kaitlin, and how they bond while playing paper mario. Luckily he only spends a couple of hours a week "gaming" if it were more than that we would have some major difficulties.
How cute! I love brotherly bonding. Although I am a girl my brothers think that picking me up and throwing me on the couch(yes even now that I'm 28)is brotherly bonding! It's fun to see you kids get along so great, huh?
I also got caught up in the Wii acquisition. At one point I had to talk myself down from driving at 90 mph to Walmart when they said they had only one left. What is the deal?
I know you are too young to remember but this reminds me of the Cabbage Patch days. We stood in line for hours when we thought Toys R Us had a shipment and then it was a madhouse to get your hands on one. The best was when I ordered them through J. C. Pennys catalog at Christmas time and they actually came the day before Christmas. I was thrilled and so were the girls. If they can manage the hype in their marketing they have a winner every time.
we have a wii and we LOVE it!! I bought Shawn the "Big Brain Academy" game for fathers day and it's a blast! Very educational and lots of fun with a group of people.
I have never heard of this Wii stuff, but man is Hunter cute! What a sweetheart to think of his brother like that ;)
